We make Alternative boards, inspired by shapes of days gone by. Our boards are all personally hand-shaped, glassed, and finished by us (Jack Knight + Aaron Knight) from our workshop on the Gold Coast.

Jack has been shaping and designing boards since the 60's. He's seen it all through the 40+ years in the craft and is an endless organic database of anything surf-related. We make and design them together. They are all uniquely and personally handcrafted with the simple aim of having fun and enjoying our ocean.

Harvest surfboards is a family owned and operated business headed by master shaper Jack Knight alongside his sons.

Jack started his path shaping in 1969 and hasn’t taken a break. He has shaped through many significant eras and alongside many revolutionaries.

In 2010 Jack's son Aaron became more involved in the craft, at the time Jack had been shaping under his own label “Jack Knight Surfboards which are boards focused on the performance side of surfing.  Together Jack and Aaron decided to take a slightly different direction and created Harvest – the idea being originally born out of the desire to create a label that could experiment with and focus on older more traditional aspects of board design.

The idea of
Harvesthas been constantly evolving/revolving and we now have quite a range of tried and tested boards that include anything from thruster/quads to traditional long boards.

We are a boutique surfboard factory and only do a limited number of boards each week (between 3-5). This allows us to focus on the quality and finer details and allows us more time with the customer to create their perfect board.

All our boards are hand shaped and glassed in house at our factory at 24 Christine Ave on the Gold Coast using high quality materials from local suppliers.

We glass our boards in varied weights/strengths but prefer to use stronger 6oz glass on the majority of boards. We also offer a wide range of resin tints/pigments to add a unique look to your board.
